THE SECOND ANNUAL FITNESS FOR A CURE TO BE HELD SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH, 2013
WILSON’S FITNESS AND THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY TO TEAM UP TO RAISE FUNDS FOR
CANCER RESEARCH THROUGH MAJOR FITNESS EVENT
COLUMBIA (MISSOURI) – January 25, 2013 – Wilson’s Fitness announced that it
will present a fitness extravaganza benefitting the American Cancer Society,
Saturday, February 9th, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at Whiskey Wild Saloon,
2508 Paris Rd., Columbia, Missouri, featuring launches of 5 Les Mills™ programs;
BODYSTEP, BODYATTACK, BODYCOMBAT, BODYJAM, AND BODYFLOW. Donations can be made
online at www.wilsonsfitness.com as well as at the door. Additional fundraising
opportunities include silent auction, vendor booths, luminaries, T-shirts and
activities for kids
“We are excited to partner with the American Cancer Society and continue our
annual fundraising event, offering world-class fitness experiences, not only to our
members, but to the entire community,” said Assistant Group Fitness Manager Lisa
Kent.“ “This special day combines our passion for exercise with our
determination to find a cure for cancer, allowing us to encourage a healthy
lifestyle through challenging and fun workouts while supporting a cause that has
affected us all.”
Since 1982 Wilson’s Fitness has been dedicated to providing mid-Missouri with the
most dynamic fitness opportunities available. Memberships are tailored to meet
individual needs providing state-of-the-art facilities and a wide variety of
programs including personal training, group fitness, family fitness, swim team,
soccer, and much more
